Manuel is a Registered Liquidator, Registered Bankruptcy Trustee a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a member of the Australian Restructuring, Insolvency and Turnaround Association.

At the time of becoming registered, Manuel was the youngest Liquidator and Bankruptcy Trustee in Australia.

Manuel is a hands-on operator and has particular experience in small to medium business turnarounds having traded on 30+ distressed businesses in different industries including:

• Hospitality and Hotels
• Medical equipment
• Cosmetic surgery
• Retail
• Pharmacy

Manuel has undertaken a number of large and complex bankruptcies and also a significant number of Personal Insolvency Agreements with over 95% of the agreements being accepted by creditors.

Manuel is also experienced with forensic accounting assignments (such as business valuations), solvency reports and assessments of loss and damage having filed expert reports for matters in the Supreme Court and Federal Court.

Manuel has successfully worked on a significant Safe Harbour assignment of a large residential builder with turnover in excess of $200million. The Safe Harbour assignment allowed the successful turnaround of the business, which is continuing to operate.

When not at work, Manuel enjoys travelling overseas, travelling to wine regions as well as snow regions, playing golf and watching just about every sport there is to watch!
