Steve has an extensive background in accounting and managing small businesses, having spent 27 years with a non-bank financial institution before joining Romanis Cant.

During that time his responsibilities included financial control, credit assessment, overseeing the winding down of an associated company in New Zealand, extensive reporting to credit providers, industry regulators (such as APRA) and to a Board of Directors, the majority of which were located offshore.

Steve works across corporate insolvency and members’ voluntary Liquidations. He has been a vital part of work undertaken by the firm under an engagement pursuant to the Safe Harbour provisions under section 588G of the Corporations Act 2001.
